About

Joshua J. A. Braun was first exposed to Impressionism on an elementary school field trip, and the expressive brushstrokes and clever use of color continue to inspire him today. He finds painting from life to be a grounding experience and a challenging constraint, and you can often find him outdoors practicing plein air painting and sketching. He hopes to deepen and share joy, gratitude, and connection through his work. Though still new to sharing his art with the public, his work has been exhibited at local venues including The Studio Door and San Diego Pride events.
